Yes. Latch pastes at the cursor of the focused app, so any assistant with a text box works the same way, in a browser tab or in a desktop app.
How long can a spoken prompt be?
A single take can run up to 10 minutes, far more than most prompts. Press Ctrl+Win again when you are done.
Can Latch structure my prompt for me?
Only if you ask it to. Add a style in Settings with your own instructions, for example “Turn this into a prompt with a goal, context, and constraints”, and pick it from the bar. On Auto, Latch only cleans up what you said.
Does it send the prompt to the assistant?
No. Latch only pastes the text at your cursor. You read it and press Enter yourself.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every account gets 60 recorded minutes a month with every feature. No card needed. Past 60 minutes you get a reminder, never a cut-off.
Do you keep my audio or transcripts?
No. Audio and text pass through our server in memory for a single take and are dropped when the text comes back.
